The Colorado TAA Young Adult Support Group includes individuals between 18-25, who have been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome or a Chronic Tic Disorder, and who are committed to sharing their stories of challenges and successes with others. Participants will have the opportunity to openly discuss their experiences, exchange insights, and empower others through mutual understanding and encouragement. This new group has 6 active members. Adult Support Group

The Colorado TAA Volunteer Community has created an Adult Support Group for Colorado residents aged 26 years or older who have a diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome or a Chronic Tic Disorder. The Facilitator of the group is Jennifer Burnett, a Denver resident, an award-winning actress and vocalist who was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome in her 50’s. Like many, she endured years of dramatic challenges without support.

Jennifer has recently launched a public initiative to advocate for those with TS/TD, to educate the public about this disorder, and to promote CBIT (Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics) training on her FacingTourettes.org website, which enables you to contact her directly.

Many of you and your kids have expressed a hunger for connection, and we would like to test out our very first event designed around building community and having fun. These activities begin in January 2026.

Two TS parents who have been actively engaged in Colorado TAA activities are leading this initiative:
